                                 ADA-Accessible Boardwalk!

ALERT!  A large tree fell on the beginning section of the boardwalk which has been temporarily repaired until a contractor can do full repairs.  It's open for use, but do so at your own risk.

Our boardwalk was completed in 2019 and its 315-foot length takes you right through mature trees with a forested view down slope.  Take a break at one of the platform areas and enjoy nature's peace and beauty.

The boardwalk  is accessible for anyone with limited mobility or using a wheelchair and is for foot travel only.   Therefore, bicycles are prohibited so that everyone can enjoy the boardwalk safely.  It is a great place for a quiet stroll into the trees, to enjoy nature, and to relax.

Show your support of this project and Governor Dick Park by sponsoring a 4” x 8” memorial brick to be placed along the sidewalk leading to the start of the walkway. Memorial bricks may be  sponsored for $100. Mini souvenir bricks (1.5” x 3” x 0.5”) with felt backing are available for $20.
