Construction will begin this fall on an ADA-accessible boardwalk trail into the forest with views of the trail down slope from two roofed observation platforms.  Be a part of this new feature of Governor Dick

Clarence Schock Memorial Park at Governor Dick is an 1105-acre stewardship forest and nature center nestled in the woods of Mt. Gretna, Pa.

We offer:

Educational programs - Scout Badge Workshops, School and Home School Programs, Backyard Biologists family programs

Guided hikes and nature walks - Toddlers in Tow, Senior walks, Fitness hikes, wildflower ID, night hikes, history walks

Outdoor events - Orienteering, Bouldering, Music on the Porch, Hike to Health

15 miles of trails in the park are enjoyed by hikers, bikers, equestrians, and families.  Dogs are welcome but MUST be leashed and under control.

April through November: 

                      Wed. to Sat., 10am - 4 pm

                      Sundays   1pm - 5pm

Trails are open from dawn to dusk.  You must be off the park property by nightfall.
